    Key Responsibilities

    • Develops high quality, modular, configurable, commercial software products

    • for the upstream oil and gas industry

    • Applies modern design patterns

    • Participates in building software frameworks, scripts, integrations to streamline development activities

    • Takes shared ownership of software development methodology and practices

    • Manages own work to deliver complete software functionality in accordance with iteration plans

    • Ensures software deliverables align with the technical architecture, development standards and quality practices

    • Assists in building and executing integrated unit tests for all code modules

    • Develops logic and code, designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools

    • Develops well documented, intent-revealing code modules

    • Participates in new technology evaluation as required

    • Participates in pair programming and peer review activities

    • Assists peers and less experienced software developers with difficult problems regarding design and programming   approaches, applications knowledge and technical product knowledge.

    • Ensures all defects in the products are tracked and addressed

    • Assists in the creation of commercial documentation and ensure QA practices are followed

    • Contributes in the delivery of the Overall Development Vision

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc. in Computer Science

    • 3 to 5 years of Java / C# programming experience.

    • Knowledge of GUI programming

    • 3 to 5 years of extensive object oriented analysis and design experience

    • Some experience in modern programming practices including design patterns, re-factoring, service oriented   architecture concepts, agile development methodologies, integrated unit testing

    • Technical knowledge and experience in application of WS-* standards, XML technologies, SOAP, Web services

    • Prior experience in UML and Rational Rose tools and process

    • Previous component based development experience

    • N-Tier application development experience

    • Previous development experience using database models, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle

    Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

    - Manage all aspects of new CRM system/database

    - Electronic marketing and Telemarketing.

    - Create a dashboard of information regarding our electronic marketing efforts.

    - Plan special events/promotions for marketing opportunities with Sales & Marketing Manager

    - Coordinate marketing efforts with our distribution partners.

    - Organize trade shows.

    - Attending trade shows and open-houses as required.

    - Web Site updates, develop creative content for intranet and website Provide monthly reports to measure web uptake

    - Manage and update literature/brochures and catalogues

    - Liaise with Graphic Arts Designer on new print material

    - Attend Sales & Marketing Conference Calls and/or Meetings.

    - Systems planning, analysis, design and implementation to support services offered

    - Provide recommendations, research, and analysis

    - Review and define vendor contracts and monitor and ensure service agreements are met

    - Provide cost, profit/loss analysis to vendor services and implement strategies for underachieving product lines and achieve national and international service targets

    - Provide detailed quality assurance oversight for Customer Relations newsletters

    - Implements activities for SEO to strengthen HHS market presence

    Knowledge & Professional Expertise

    - Bachelors in Marketing and/or a Diploma in Website Design

    - Minimum 3 years in Communications and Marketing

    - Analytical, detail oriented and exceptional and time management skills

    - Project management skills with the ability to manage disparate projects through to completion

    Job Description:

    As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely on-boarding of new clients into the company portfolio. You will be responsible for managing the workload for a team of accountants and will be responsible for all performance reviews and mentorship of the team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong knowledge of Excel to this role and provide strategic financial support to both property accountants and clients. You will also work closely with the corporate accounting team to assist with the budgeting and month end process.
     

    Requirements:

    • Completion of a recognized Accounting Designation (CMA, CGA, or CA)

    • 5+ years of experience in a commercial property accounting capacity

    • 3+ years of experience leading an accounting team

    • Experience managing a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties

    • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel

    • Experience in all aspects of client accounting operations including accounts receivable, payables, financial statements   and budget preparation, taxation compliance and client reporting

    • Strong Communication skills and attention to detail
